Education & Academic Focus
I graduated from the University of Warwick with a 2:1 BA (Hons) English Literature (2015–2019). My degree afforded me strong written communication and research skills, alongside three years of French language study (including an intercalated year teaching English in Paris). My academic interests focused on press publishing, creative writing, contemporary literature, and poetry.
Earlier academic achievements include A-Levels (A* English Literature, A Geography, B French; AS Philosophy A) and outstanding GCSE results (5 A*s, 5 As), reflecting a consistent record of analytical and communication excellence.
Professional Development & Marketing Training
To complement my humanities background with commercial expertise, I completed the Mini MBA in Marketing (Marketing Week, 2023), a CPD programme led by marketing strategist Mark Ritson. This training strengthened my ability to combine analytical thinking with creative communication – bringing a strategic, commercially informed perspective to content creation and marketing strategy.
Technical Skills & Digital Tools
I bring practical experience with industry-standard creative and marketing software, enabling me to ideate and execute ideas from end to end:
- Adobe Creative Suite: Confident in InDesign and Illustrator; working knowledge of Photoshop and Audition
- Content & CMS platforms: WordPress, Squarespace, Blogger
- Marketing & CRM: HubSpot, Mailchimp, Later
- Digital publishing & design: Canva, Substack
- Productivity: Microsoft Office Suite
This combination of strong humanities training, marketing strategy education, and hands-on digital software knowledge allows me to contribute across content creation, editorial work, and marketing execution.
